Angel was
in a sorry state when he arrived at our rescue. He is a mix of a shorthaired
cavy and a Sheltie. He was definitely suffering from a skin condition and had
several lesions on his back and side that looked like bite marks. Hard to say
what it was, since Angel was found in a park…
We let him
settle in for a day and then he received an oil soak (Manuka & Neem). His
condition cleared up considerably except for some of the lesions on his left side. They would heal, scabs would form, they would
start to itch, and Angel would start scratching frantically, re-opening the
wounds. I tried everything, but no result. So I emailed Chrissie and asked if she could help! And,
as so many times before, she came to the rescue. The Neem Gel worked
wonders on Angel. Within a week the lesions were healed and from Day 1 Angel
did not scratch himself anymore!
I have
already used the Neem Gel on several guineas with similar skin problems and
have not been disappointed about the results - Neem Gel works!!!!! Thank you
so much Chrissie, you did it again:)

The
second success story comes from Jackie who has a dog with on-going skin problems.
Sam is a 14-year-old Lhasa Apso. For some years now she has had a pruritic skin
condition which is sometimes so severe that she bites the itchy places, causing
raw, red patches. The vet treats her with antibiotics for the infections this
causes, but various washes and chemical dips have done little to help. I applied
Aloe Vera Gel for a time, which gave her some relief, but then Chrissie made up
some special Neem Gel for her. When I gently massage it into the sore spots, Sam
lies back with a blissful expression on her face! Next morning, the redness has
gone and the wound miraculously healed over. Amazing. I always keep a pot handy
now, and whenever I see her biting herself, I put some on and the itching stops straight away.
