Guide To Wedding Stationery

WEDDING PREPARATIONS

Personalised Wedding Stationery sets the seal on your marriage plans. The first step in choosing your stationery is to decide on the style of your wedding and then select a design that will complement it.

INVITATIONS

First, decide on your number of guests. You will need to send one per family. To this number add a small quantity to cater for mistakes in writing them out and extra guests you may decide to invite later.

It is advisable to order the invitations at least three months in advance of the wedding to allow for printing and some leeway before sending them out at least six weeks before the wedding. Give the printer/stationer a typed sheet with the exact wording you require on the invitations and check very carefully that all names, places, times and dates are correct. EVENING INVITATIONS

Evening Invitations, personalised with your evening reception details, are an ideal way to invite guests not attending the wedding ceremony. Order enough copies for all of your guests plus a few extra for those last minute invitations. Be sure to check that all names, places, times and dates are correct. ACCEPTANCE CARDS

Acceptance cards, sent with your invitations, are an excellent way to encourage your guests to respond earlier. Enough acceptance cards should be ordered for one to be enclosed with each invitation sent. This item has a standard personalised message on one side with your personalised name and address on the reverse side.

ORDER OF SERVICE

The Order of Service sheet gives the precise order of each aspect of the service and you will need to confirm this with the minister, and make sure he has a copy on the day. Order them at least a month in advance with enough copies for each guest, the members of the wedding party, plus a few extra for friends which may turn up to watch the wedding.
